Travel Memories operates under the brand Travel Memories Zanzibar and provides personalised travel planning, destination expertise and concierge services, with a particular focus on Zanzibar and Tanzania.
Our role is to help you design, organise and personalise your travel experience.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Travel Memories does not operate hotels, restaurants, airlines, excursion companies, transportation companies or other travel service providers.
2. OUR TRAVEL PLANNING CONCEPT
Travel Memories is a travel planner and concierge, rather than a traditional travel agency.
Our website allows you to purchase our planning and concierge services. These fees cover the time, expertise, research, itinerary design, recommendations, coordination and personalised assistance provided by Travel Memories.
The price displayed or paid to Travel Memories is therefore not automatically the price of accommodation, flights, excursions, restaurants, transfers or other travel services.
Where you decide to purchase or use a service provided by a third-party supplier, that service may be subject to the supplier's own booking conditions, cancellation policy, payment terms and rules.
Where applicable, we will clearly indicate when a service is provided by a third party.
3. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN OUR SERVICES
Depending on the Travel Memories service or package selected, our planning services may include:

4. WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Travel Memories planning fees do not include:

Accommodation costs

Airport transfers

Excursions or activities

Restaurant bills

Beach club charges

Visa fees
-
Travel insurance

Government taxes or destination charges

Personal expenses
-
Tips and gratuities
-
Meals and drinks

Additional services purchased directly from suppliers

Any other service not expressly included in your Travel Memories service
Where a supplier's service is purchased directly by you, the supplier's own price and terms will apply.
5. HOW TO BOOK WITH TRAVEL MEMORIES
You may contact Travel Memories through our website, email or other communication channels made available by us.
Depending on the service selected, we may first collect information about your destination, travel dates, number of travellers, preferences, budget and desired experiences.
We may then prepare recommendations or a personalised travel proposal.
A Travel Memories booking is confirmed when:

You have selected or approved the relevant Travel Memories service;

You have accepted these Booking Conditions; and
-
Travel Memories has received the applicable planning fee in cleared funds.

Your planning service will not begin until the applicable payment has been successfully received, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
6. TRAVEL MEMORIES PLANNING FEES
Travel Memories charges fees exclusively for its travel planning and concierge services.
The applicable planning fee will be communicated or displayed before you confirm your booking.
Only Travel Memories' planning and concierge fees are paid to Travel Memories. The cost of accommodation, transfers, excursions, restaurants, activities and other travel services is paid separately to the relevant third-party supplier, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
Travel Memories does not collect or hold payment for third-party travel services on behalf of suppliers.
Our planning fees cover the professional time and expertise required to research, design, coordinate and manage your travel planning request.
Because planning work may begin immediately after payment, planning fees are generally non-refundable once Travel Memories has commenced the requested planning services, except where required by applicable law or where Travel Memories expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
If your selected service has specific cancellation or refund conditions, those conditions will be communicated to you before purchase.
7. THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS
Travel Memories works with and recommends selected hotels, restaurants, beach clubs, drivers, excursion operators, guides and other local partners.
These suppliers are independent businesses.
All payments for their services are made directly to the relevant supplier. Travel Memories only collects its own planning and concierge fees.
Each supplier may have its own prices, availability, payment requirements, cancellation policy, amendment policy and terms and conditions.
Travel Memories will, where reasonably possible, communicate relevant supplier conditions to you.
However, Travel Memories cannot guarantee the availability, quality, operation or continued existence of any third-party service.
8. CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to change your travel plans after our planning service has started, we will do our best to assist you. Additional planning work may result in an additional fee.
Travel Memories planning fees are generally non-refundable once planning has commenced, as they cover the professional time and work dedicated to your journey, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Cancellations or changes relating to third-party services are subject to the cancellation and amendment policies of the relevant supplier.
9. TRAVEL RESPONSIBILITIES & LIABILITY
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary travel documents, including a valid passport, visa or entry authorisation, travel insurance and any other documents required for your journey.
Travel Memories provides travel planning and concierge services and takes reasonable care when making recommendations and coordinating your journey.
However, we cannot be held responsible for events outside our reasonable control, including flight disruptions, weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, supplier cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances.
Nothing in these Booking Conditions limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
10. GOVERNING LAW & CONTACT
These Booking Conditions and any dispute arising from our services shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise
